Hey there … here’s a form for you to complete peer evaluations for your projects (PS2340).  I’ll have some copies at the exam as well.

At this point in the term, I get a lot of emails asking when the projects will be marked, or why some items such as status reports or other ‘homework’ items that you submitted aren’t showing up as marked (in the online marks thingie – Thinkwave – or whatever).  If I answered all these emails individually, then the answer would be that I will never get any of it marked or posted because I won’t have time.  So rather than answer each email, here is the status and the plan:

Status

Right now, your marks are not up to date.  I have to comb through email folders to pick up items that I did not get to, or that were submitted a little late, etc.  Plus, I have to mark projects.

Plan

For each course, I have to mark – or post marks for: (1) term work, (2) attendance, and (3) projects.  Because of the timing of exams (PS2340 this week, HN2210 and MR2350 next week), I will be attending to PS2340 work first.  As I complete each of these, I will post the status here on the blog.  So before you email me for a particular mark, check here.  For anyone who does not have access to Thinkwave, you can email me for marks, but again, check for status here before emailing !!!  There’s no point asking me for your mark on assignment #3, or the term project, for example, when the status on here says I have not completed marking them yet !!!

PS2340

I will mark the 2340 projects and post the marks.  I will then update Thinkwave to reflect the status reports I received.  In many cases I marked it as received from only ONE of the students in a group, so it looks to the the rest of you as if I didn’t receive it.  Not so – I just haven’t updated it.

HN2210

I will mark any remaining chapter summaries and post the ‘mark’ (simple ‘receipt’).  I will then mark the projects and post those marks.

MR2340

I will mark any remaining case studies, including older ones that you may not have gotten a mark on yet.

Attendance

This will be done last.

To make life easy, here’s a status list that I will update as I proceed.  Check the status of your item before emailing me.

I just posted study guides for HN2210 and PS2340.  I think the titles were screwed up, so please check the last couple of posts before this one.  I’ve fixed the titles so it should be obvious.

MR2350 should be there by today sometime.

Hey there … there is a change to the final exam schedule regarding MR2350 (the eCommerce thing).

The time is unchanged (Monday, Apr 27: 9am to 12pm).

However, the classroom is changed from F210 as originally scheduled, to C105 in the new schedule.

So – the final exam, MR2350 IS
Monday, Apr 27: 9am to 12pm
C105

We finished up chapter 9 (Decision Making) on Tuesday – not starting anything new before exams.  So … no class Thursday.
